Codification is the official recognition of a product as a defense equipment sample and the assignment of a NATO Stock Number (NSN) for inclusion in the Armed Forces of Ukraine Supply Catalog. We prepare the full document package and accompany the review at the Ministry of Defense.

What is included

  • Preparation of the complete document package (TS, Act, Protocols, passport, operation manual)
  • Determining the applicable track — Resolution No. 345, 1275, 256, or 902
  • Scheduling a review with the Technical Documentation Commission
  • Support through the review and any requested revisions
  • Obtaining the NSN and inclusion in the Armed Forces Supply Catalog
  • Preparation of TS and ISO compliance certificates (if needed)

How the process works

  1. We verify the document package is complete (TS + testing)
  2. We determine the applicable resolution for your equipment category
  3. We assemble the full package for submission to MD DELSU
  4. We accompany the review by the Technical Documentation Commission
  5. You receive the NSN and official defense-equipment status — usually within 10 days of submission
Which resolution applies to your product?

Resolution No. 345 covers most equipment categories, No. 1275 covers UAVs, UGVs, unmanned maritime systems, and tactical EW, and No. 256 is a separate track for domestically produced unmanned systems. Full breakdown of all 10 categories in our equipment types article.

Who this is for

Manufacturers with completed TS and testing who want official defense-equipment status and access to state defense procurement.
